Jeremy is committed to provide superior service, run excellent teaching & tournament
programs. Not available at many clubs, he will be instituting a Junior Program that will provide those young golfers the opportunity to develop their golfing skills.
Background includes:
- Jeremy is Class “A” PGA Certified and has been involved with over 750 tournaments and
several PGA Seniors Championships.
- His experience includes the world renowned PGA National Resort in Palm Beach,
Gardens, Florida, learning from some of the world’s top swing instructors and developing
his skills in tournament operations.
A Pro at several respected courses his credits include:
Golf professional in the Northeastern New York PGA Section, Assistant Player of the Year 5 times, voted Assistant Golf Professional of the Year 2003, NENY PGA Player of the Year 2003, voted one of the Top 25 Assistants in the United States 2005 by Golf World Business.
Instruction
The Mohawk Golf Club’s Golf Professionals offer a variety of options that would suit your learning
needs. Many players elect to purchase series of
lessons with the intent to make a commitment to
their game. As well as individual lessons, series of 3,
6, and Unlimited Lessons are offered. That’s right –
UNLIMITED!! Many players like this format because it
allows for many teaching opportunities. On-course
lessons are a favorite for the unlimited package. Concentrating on how to
play problem holes and problem shots, using course management, and
learning to read greens on the course are just a few of the benefits associated
with playing lessons. Experience gives you more confidence and confidence
breeds a better golf game!
Series of 3 & 6 lessons are good if you want to concentrate on one or two
particular areas. You can usually pick up the most amounts of shots around
the green and using better course management. Beginners are also best
suited to the 3 & 6 lesson package. This will give the beginner an
introduction to the fundamentals of the game. Fundamentals such as grip,
stance, & posture are some of the basics that help build a reliable golf swing.
PURCHASE INCENTIVE - With each purchase of a driver there will be a 15-
minute lesson given at no charge. If you purchase a driver and an additional
club – fairway wood, hybrid, wedge or putter – a half -hour lesson will be
given at no charge. If three woods or more or a set of irons are purchased a
Full HOUR lesson comes with the purchase. I want you to learn how to use

Playing lessons will be based on a half-hourly rate and an hour minimum unless it’s under the unlimited package. An hour is the minimum a player would need to benefit from an on-course lesson. Inquire in the golf shop for the best times. Although it’s not necessary, please make arrangements a week in advance, if possible, to help us avoid conflicts in staff scheduling. Two, three & four player-playing lessons are available.

The goal of the Golf Operations Staff is to give you superior customer service so you continue to depend on us for all of your golfing needs. We offer most of the name brands that you see advertised and also offer items from companies that you have a hard time finding anywhere else. With club manufacturers like Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, Ping, TaylorMade, and Titleist, you can the right club to fit any part of your game. We have a demo day on the first Friday in May with most, if not all, of the companies mentioned. It’s a regular buffet of clubs to choose from!
The golf shop also offers famous name brand golf apparel. Nike, adidas, Sport Haley, EP Pro, Fairway & Greene and Cutter & Buck are some of the staples that provide a wide array of looks while offering something for everyone’s price range.
There are also accessories available that make great gift or great additions to your home or golf game. Divot Tools and towels are standards but things like custom Mohawk Golf Club pottery and glassware as well as women’s jewelry are just a few of the items that can add a touch of class to your golf game and your home.

Youth Instruction
The Mohawk Golf & Country Club Pro Staff is dedicated to the instruction of the young
interested in the game of golf. The short course which is not available at many golf and
country clubs allows instruction to these junior golfers and gives them the opportunity to
practice with guidance. It is also a wonderful place for friendships to build.
Locker House
The Locker House is the site of the men's and lady's locker rooms, showers, saunas.
Located here is also the men's 19th hole lounge/bar, and the mixed lounge and bar which
offers large screen TV's.
The men's side has a pool table and is a great place for a tense card game.
